This Safety Guide, which is jointly sponsored by the IAEA and the ILO, updates previous guidance material and extends its coverage to include activities involving all raw materials for which radiation protection measures need to be considered, as well as including additional guidance on authorization of mining and processing activities, inspection and compliance.
