Her publications include Canadian Historical Fiction: Reading the Remains (Palgrave, 2014) and Northern Experience and the Myths of Canadian Culture (2002). She is the editor of Native North America: Critical and Cultural Perspectives (1999), and with Renate Eigenbrod, of Aboriginal Oral Traditions: Theory, Practice, Ethics (2008).
