Altmann, Philipp
Philipp Altmann (Prof. Dr.), geb. 1982, hat Soziologie, Ethnologie und spanische Philologie an der Universität Trier und der Universidad Autónoma de Madrid studiert und an der Freien Universität Berlin in Soziologie promoviert. Er ist Professor für Soziologische Theorie an der Universidad Central del Ecuador und forscht zur Verbreitung von Ideen und Begriffen, sozialen Bewegungen und der Entwicklung der Soziologie.
Philipp Altmann ist Professor für Soziologische Theorie an der Universidad Central del Ecuador. Er studierte Soziologie, Ethnologie und spanische Philologie an der Universität Trier und promovierte in Soziologie an der Freien Universität Berlin mit einer Arbeit zu den dekolonialen Aspekten des Diskurses der ecuadorianischen Indigenenbewegung. Seine Forschungsinteressen sind soziale Bewegungen, Dekolonialität, Identität, soziale Exklusion, Systemtheorie, politische Soziologie, Wissenschaftssoziologie.
