This booklet contains all papers presented on the conference Printing Future Days 2011. The conference was held under the auspices of iarigai, the International Association of Research Organisations for the Information, Media and Graphic Arts Industries. The papers comprise topics from traditional graphic arts printing to functional printing beyond colour and aspects of new media.

The Printing Future Days 2011, dedicated to young scientists presenting their first scientific results on an international event, is rather unique since it satisfies mutual networking interests of students, university scientists as well as industry and company representatives. The papers published in this booklet address topics related to print and media technologies and will provide a snapshot of the international research carried out recently in this field.
