Faisal Ahmed, Ph.D., is Associate Professor of International Business at FORE School of Management, New Delhi. He has also taught at Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi as a visiting faculty and has worked as Associate Director with CUTS International, a leading think tank on international trade. Dr. Ahmed is also a trained Geopolitical Analyst from Geneva. He has been consultant to the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia and other institutions and has worked on and led projects supported by the government and international organisations. Dr. Ahmed is frequently invited as an expert and panelist on international trade and geopolitics. He has several publications in national and international refereed journals. Also, Dr. Ahmed’s articles have appeared in leading newspapers and he has been interviewed and his opinion has been quoted in both print and television media in India and abroad. His research and consulting areas include economic integration and WTO issues, least developed countries (LDCs) issues, south-south cooperation, and trade and geopolitics.

M. Absar Alam, M.A. Economics, is Trade and Transport Facilitation Expert and Consultant with Asian Development Bank (ADB). Prior to this, he worked as Economist and Consultant with Asian Institute of Transport Development (AITD), a think tank having special consultative status with the United Nations. He has also worked as Economist with RITES Ltd. (under the aegis of Ministry of Railways). He has published articles and research papers on the subjects related to macroeconomic environment and international trade. His areas of consulting and research include macroeconomic studies, infrastructure development, regional cooperation and trade facilitation.
