Nancy K. Frankenberry (PhD, Philosophy of Religion, Graduate Theological Union/UC Berkeley) is John Phillips Professor of Religion at Dartmouth College. She is the author of Religion and Radical Empiricism (SUNY, 1987) and Radical Interpretation in Religion (Cambridge, 2002), the editor of The Faith of Scientists: In Their Own Words (Princeton, 2008), and the coeditor of (with Hans Penner) Language, Truth, and Religious Belief (Oxford, 1999) and (with J. Harley Chapman) Interpreting Neville (SUNY, 1999). I chose her as a reader for her expertise in continental and anglophone philosophy of religion and in religion and science.Matthew Bagger teaches in the Department of Religious Studies at the University of Alabama. He is the author of Religious Experience, Justification, and History (1999) and The Uses of Paradox: Religion, Self-Transformation, and the Absurd (Columbia, 2007).
