Beno Benhabib is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, as well as Director and Founder of the Computer Integrated Manufacturing Laboratory, University of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He is a senior member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. The author of more than 200 research articles, Professor Benhabib received the B.Sc. degree (1980) from Bogazici University, Turkey, the M.Sc. degree (1982) from Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel, and the Ph.D. degree (1985) from the University of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
