Karen R. Brock is a physician with many years experience in medical education. Because of her extended family’s bipolar, she has been active in mental health advocacy at the local and state level since 2000. She has spent her entire medical career in rural, underserved regions of the Appalachians and now resides in Jefferson, North Carolina.
