Xiao, Jiadong
Jiadong Xiao is currently a postdoctoral scholar with Prof. Kazunari Domen at Shinshu University in Japan and a research fellow in Japan Technological Research Association of Artificial Photosynthetic Chemical Process (ARPChem). He obtained his Ph.D. in the group of Prof. Hongbin Cao at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2018, and was a joint Ph.D. student in the group of Prof. Angelika Brückner at Leibniz Institute for Catalysis (LIKAT) in Germany in 2016-2018. He did postdoctoral research with Prof. Bert M. Weckhuysen at Utrecht University in The Netherlands in 2018-2019 before moving to Japan. His research interest includes advanced oxidation processes, environmental chemistry, catalytic in-situ/operando studies, and solar photocatalysis for overall water splitting. He has published around 30 peer-reviewed articles in Accounts of Chemical Research, ACS Catalysis, Environmental Science & Technology, Applied Catalysis B, Journal of American Chemical Society, etc. with over 1000 citations and H-index of 17 (Google Scholar).
Wang, Yuxian
Yuxian Wang is currently an associate professor at College of Chemical Engineering and Environment, China University of Petroleum-Beijing. He obtained his doctoral degree under the supervision of Prof. Shaobin Wang and Prof. Hongqi Sun at Curtin University in 2016. In the same year, he joined China University of Petroleum-Beijing. His research interests include environmental remediation by advanced oxidation techniques and the corresponding catalytic mechanisms analysis. He has published more than 40 peer-reviewed articles in Journal of American Chemical Society, ACS Catalysis, Environmental Science & Technology, Applied Catalysis B: Environmental, etc. with over 2500 citations and an H-index of 22 (Google Scholar).
Xie, Yongbing
Yongbing Xie is an associate Professor in Institute of Process Engineering (IPE), Chinese Academy of Science (CAS). He graduated from Tianjin University in 2009, and after two years working as a postdoc, he became an assistant professor in IPE. His research interests includes novel materials synthesis and advanced technologies for organic wastewater treatment. He has published 77 peer-reviewed papers with total citation over 2200 (H-index: 26 google scholar), such as Journal of American Chemical Society, Accounts of Chemical Research, ACS Catalysis, Environmental Science & Technology, Applied Catalysis B, and etc. He has applied 18 Chinese patents and 3 American patents (with 9 authorized in total). He is the principal investigator of 10 projects from government and industry, and associate editor of Journal of Environmental Engineering, deputy director of young editorial board of industrial wastewater treatment and member of young editorial board of Chinese Chemical Letters.
Hongbin Cao is a professor in Institute of Process Engineering (IPE), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He mainly works on whole process control of industrial wastewater pollution. Based on the principals of chemical engineering, heterogeneous catalysis and environmental chemistry, he developed an integrated theory for efficient industrial pollution control, including pollution source analysis-control strategy, clean production to reduce emission, end-of-pipe harmless treatment and whole process optimization. He leads a group with over 80 members in total, and has a very strong background on environmental catalysis, separation process and industrial application.
