Lian Kwen-Fee, Ph.D. (1987), Victoria University, Wellington, is Associate Professor, Department of Sociology, at the National University Singapore. His publications include with M.Hill: The Politics of Nation Building and Citizenship in Singapore (London, Routledge 1995).
