Über Autor(innen)

Dr. Maria Cheng: Associate Professor at the Department of Linguistics and Translation, City University of Hong Kong. She has rich experience in the media industry, including broadcasting, film-making, advertising and publishing. She was the launching Editor-in-Chief of the Hong Kong editions of two international magazines, Cosmopolitan and Elle, and is the author of the book Translation for the Media. She writes and translates extensively and has over 300 publications which include refereed papers and book chapters on translation and discourse analysis. She has edited over 200 books and magazines, and is actively involved in research and publication projects of Chinese painting.

Dr. Tang Wai Hung: Deputy Director of the Jao Tsung-I Petite Ecole, The University of Hong Kong, and is an experienced art collector and connoisseur. He was a senior executive in several television corporations in Hong Kong and Macau, and managed the production of numerous programmes, including a series on the National Palace Museum in Taipei and Palace Museum in Beijing. He has lectured in a number of tertiary institutions. He is the author and editor of hundreds of publications on various subjects including Chinese painting.

Dr. Eric Choy: A management and marketing professional experienced in consumer goods and medical devices. He has a keen interest in Chinese painting and is an amateur researcher and writer on various topics of Chinese art. His published papers include articles on consumer behaviour and auspicious painting.
