Dr. GuangLiang Feng obtained his PhD in geotechnical engineering from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), China. He is affiliated as Associate Professor at Institute of Rock and Soil Mechanics, CAS. He is the committee member of underground engineering branch of the Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics & Engineering (CSRME), the committee member of youth commission of the CSRME, the committee member of surface rock engineering of the CSRME, the member of youth innovation promotion association of the CAS, the committee member of green mining technology youth committee of Zhongguancun green mining industry alliance, and the committee member of the engineering detection and physical detection of Chinese Society of Hydroelectric Engineering. Meanwhile, he is serving as Guest Editor of 2 international journals, editorial board member of 5 journals, and reviewer of more than 20 international journals.Dr. Feng has authored/co-authored more than 60 papers, 27 patents, 2 monographs and 6 software copyrights. He is in charge of 2 National Natural Science Funds Projects and a Young Elite Scientists Sponsorship Program by China Association for Science and Technology. As the main draftsman, he compiled one International Society for Rock Mechanics Suggested Method, and 2 industry standards of the People's Republic of China. His awards and honors include 2 scientific awards, reward-gainer of the excellent PhD dissertation of CSRME and reward-gainer of dean award of CAS. His research covers deep rockmass mechanics and underground engineering safety, including microseismic monitoring, microseismic signal analysis and source location, failure mechanics of rockmass, rockburst warning, stability analysis, warning and control of geotechnical engineering.
