Gilchrist, Alison
Alison Gilchrist is an independent consultant and research fellow at the University of Birmingham. She has worked for almost four decades in community development as an activist, practitioner, trainer, researcher, policy advisor and manager.

Taylor, Marilyn
Marilyn Taylor, Visiting Professor at Birkbeck, University of London Marilyn Taylor teaches in the areas of community involvement in neighbourhood renewal, partnerships, community participation. Her research interests include neighbourhood renewal, civil renewal, accountability, community participation and empowerment, voluntary and community sector role and development.

Alison Gilchrist is an independent consultant who has worked in community development for over 40 years as an activist, practitioner, trainer, researcher and manager.
Marilyn Taylor, Visiting Research Fellow at the Institute for Voluntary Action Research, has a long track record of research in relation to community policy and practice and has published widely in this field.
