She has 14 years experience leading and managing programmes with a focus on development education, volunteering for development and innovative education approaches. Siobhán has worked with the Irish Development Education Association, Comhlámh and the Media in Education Trust, South Africa and holds a Masters in Business Administration and an MSc in Development Studies.

Martin, Maeve
A psychologist who has spent her professional life as a teacher-educator at all levels of the teacher education continuum. Prior to that, she worked as a classroom teacher both in Nigeria and Ireland. She is a Fulbright Fellow and spent a year in Boston College researching new paradigms for teacher education and was a consultant for the World Bank in the Caribbean. Now in retirement, she carries out a range of consultancy work.

Titley, Aoife
A former post-primary teacher and educational researcher. She currently lectures in development education and intercultural education in the Froebel Department of Early Childhood and Primary Education in Maynooth University. She also acts as Teacher Education Adviser to Amnesty International and is a DCU Doctoral candidate, specialising in teacher education.

Sobotová, Lenka
Has been actively involved in the Czech Development Education movement since 2006. She worked for the non-governmental organisations ARPOK and People in Need as educational project coordinator and trainer. She has a degree in International Development Studies from Palacký University in Olomouc. Since 2012 she has been working on her PhD project in cooperation with the International Institute of Social Studies in The Hague.

Is Chief Specialist at the Ministry of National Education of Poland. With a background in public administration and a Masters degree in political science, she has been for some years involved in the integration of Global Education within the Polish national education system.

Has been working as director of the Variants educational department of the Czech People in Need organisation. She is a trainer of critical thinking, has been involved in preparing methodological documents and participated in developing the Czech National Strategy for Global Development Education.

Jean-Marie Krier, Dr., Erziehungswissenschaftler / Soziologe (Univ.), Betriebswirt (Univ.), ist Mitarbeiter der KommEnt GmbH in Salzburg, Österreich. Er evaluiert und berät seit vielen Jahren in den Bereichen entwicklungspolitische Bildungsarbeit, Globales Lernen und Fairer Handel im In- und Ausland.
Jääskeläinen, Liisa
Master in Social Science. Before retiring, she was Counsellor of Education at the Finnish National Board of Education. She was actively involved in the ongoing curricular reforms of preschool and basic education as well as preliminary education for general upper secondary schools for migrants. She has initiated and chaired several development processes on international and Global Education.
