ELIZABETH O. LICHTENBERGER, PhD, is a licensed clinicalpsychologist residing in Carlsbad, California. She has coauthoredseveral Essentials books, including Essentials of AssessmentReport Writing (with Nancy Mather, Nadeen Kaufman, and AlanKaufman). She and Alan Kaufman are coauthors of AssessingAdolescent and Adult Intelligence, now in its thirdedition.
ALAN S. KAUFMAN, PhD, a leading expert on intelligencetesting, is Clinical Professor of Psychology at the Child StudyCenter at the Yale University School of Medicine. His books, tests,and intelligent testing approach have had worldwide impact onclinical assessment. Dr. Kaufman's approach to test interpretationand his tests--such as KABC-II and KTEA-II, which he co-createdwith Nadeen Kaufman--reflect an integration of psychometric,theoretical, and clinical perspectives.
