“This comprehensive collection gathers together a plethora of information. on the connection between polymer science and biomedical applications. Graft copolymers of polysaccharides have shown remarkable expansion in recent decades due to the demand for innovative ways to deliver drugs, better therapeutic efficacy, and advanced biomedical technology. This book presents a wide range of information, from the design and synthesis of polysaccharide graft copolymers to their biomedical and pharmaceutical applications. It starts by going through the fundamental principles and techniques used to synthesize polysaccharide graft copolymers. The chapters explore applications of polysaccharide graft copolymers in therapeutic drug delivery, reliable dose formulations, and the fascinating possibilities in the formulation of nanoparticulate systems. The synthesis and utilization of chitosan-based graft copolymers are also highlighted in the book; this subject is of great importance to the biomedical industry.”
