Murray, Margaret
Geboren 1921 in Lille, Frankreich. Klavier- und Cellostudium am Royal College of Music London. 1942-52: Instrumentallehrerin an verschiedenen Schulen in England. 1958-66: Adaptation der fünf Bände des Orff-Schulwerks für England. 1964-76: Kurs- und Vortragstätigkeit in Zusammenhang mit dem Orff-Schulwerk in allen Teilen der Britischen Inseln sowie am Orff-Institut Salzburg, in den USA, Südafrika und Australien. 1976-86: Musiklehrerin an einer Schule im Großraum London. Seit 1976 Organisation von Kursen und Übersetzungen zahlreicher wichtiger Bücher zum Orff-Schulwerk ins Englische. 1964: Gründerin und bis heute ehrenamtliche Geschäftsführerin der Orff-Schulwerk Gesellschaft Großbritannien.
