Polyudova, Elena
Dr Elena Polyudova is a member of the Scientific Committee of the journals Social Sciences and Culture, published by Padua University, Italy, and Pedagogy of Art, published by the Institute of Art Education at the Academy of Education, Moscow, Russia. An independent researcher and English language instructor, currently living in the USA, she publishes many articles on comparative research of Russian and American art education systems, in addition to a book, The Current Issues in American Art Education (in Russian). As a member of PAMLA (Pacific Ancient and Modern Language Association), Dr Polyudova leads several sessions at the Association’s conferences, such as “ESL Studies” and “Once Upon a Time: Modern Vision of Old Stories”. Her current research interests include the concept of aesthetic experience in American art education; the educational traits of the modern generation; and teaching foreign languages as a system of cultural patterns.
