Part of the Basic Texts in Counselling and Psychotherapy series, this is a clear introductory text on personal construct theory and its application in therapeutic and counselling practice. It provides a simple guide for the student and clinician to the administration, analysis, and interpretation of personal construct assessment techniques, such as the repertory grid, and their use in therapy.

Not only does it introduce the range of contemporary personal construct therapeutic methods available, it is also the first book of its kind to explicate the extension of the personal construct approach to the relational context, including a guide to the use of innovative techniques developed by one of the authors.
