Professor Paul-Gerhard Reinhard, after having had several assignments at international institutions, including the Universities at Oxford and Toulouse, now is Professor of Theoretical Physics II at the University of Erlangen. His institute is mainly concerned with the theory and computer simulation of many particle systems. Currently, the main fields of research are plasma, cluster and nuclear physics.

Professor Joachim A. Maruhn Serves as Elected Executive Director of the Institute of Theoretical Physics of the University of Frankfurt. Prior research positions have been at Oak Ridge and Vanderbilt. His research interests are focused on Heavy ion inertial confinement fusion, Nuclear structure, Nuclear hydrodynamics.

Professor Eric Suraud has performed research at institutions in Lyon, Grenoble, Paris and Kyoto. He now serves as Professor of Theoretical Physics in Toulouse.
His interests are the dynamics of complex systems, and their description using mean-field and kinetic theories (quantum-mechanical and semi-classical).
