Thangaprakash Sengodan received his Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Bharathiar University, India, and Master of Engineering in Power Electronics and Drives from Anna University, Chennai, in 2002 and 2014, respectively. He received a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, India, in 2011. He is currently a visiting professor at SVS College of Engineering and the full-time head of the research and development wing of Diligentec Solutions, Coimbatore. His current research interests include power electronics circuits, renewable power conversion systems, and solid-state control of electric drives. He has authored over thirty papers in peer-reviewed international journals and conferences. Dr. Thangaprakash is a senior member of IEEE, IEEE-Power Electronics Society, IEEE-Communications Society, and a life member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE). Dr. Thangaprakash is currently Vice-Chair of Electronic Communication andInformation Management, IEEE India Council (for the period 2021–2022), and also he is a member of the IEEE India Council EXCOM 2021–2022 (Executive Committee) and IEEE Madras Section EXCOM 2020–2021.
M. Murugappan received B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Madras University, M.E. in Applied Electronics from Anna University, and a Ph.D. in Mechatronic Engineering from Universiti Malaysia Perlis, in 2002, 2006, and 2010, respectively. He is currently working as an associate professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Kuwait College of Science and Technology (KCST) (Private University), Kuwait. Before this, he worked as a senior lecturer in the School of Mechatronics Engineering, University Malaysia Perlis, Malaysia, from 2010 to 2016. He has been working in bio-signal processing applications for the past 12 years and, is cited as an expert in WHO IS WHO in the world.
