Stasi, Cristina
In 2001, Cristina Stasi graduated with a degree in Medicine and Surgery at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Rome, Italy. In 2006, Dr. Stasi went on to specialize in Gastroenterology at the University of Pisa, Italy. From 2006 to 2009, she took part in clinical research projects at the Careggi University Hospital in Florence, Italy. At the same time, Dr. Stasi improved her knowledge in study design, management of clinical research projects, statistics, and epidemiology. In 2013, she earned her PhD in Experimental and Clinical Medicine from the University of Florence, Italy. Dr. Stasi has published more than 70 papers in reputed international journals and serves as an editorial board member within international journals. She currently works at both the MASVE Interdepartmental Hepatology Center (Department of Experimental and Clinical Medicine, University of Florence and Center for Research and Innovation CRIA-MASVE, Careggi University Hospital, Florence, Italy) as well as at the Epidemiology Unit (Regional Health Agency of Tuscany, Florence, Italy). Dr. Stasi has obtained the National Scientific Qualification to work as an associate and full professor in the field of skin, infectious, and gastrointestinal diseases in Italian universities and even to work as an associate professor in the field of technology and methodology in medicine and nursing sciences, again in Italian universities.
