Professor Aleksandar Subic, Professor and Head of School, School of Aerospace, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, RMIT University.
He completed his Bachelors, Masters and PhD degrees at the University of Belgrade and has worked on postdoctoral research projects in the UK and Germany. He holds the positions of Director of Society of Automotive Engineers Australasia and Education Director
of AutoCRC.
Prof. Subic is internationally recognised for his contributions to research and education in engineering which is evidenced by a number of international appointments, including Fellow of the Society of Automotive Engineers, Fellow of
the International Energy Federation, President of the International Sports Engineering Association (ISEA), Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of
Sustainable Design and Sports Technology Journal published by Wiley, Guest Editor and Member of Editorial Boards of International Journal of Vehicle Design, European Journal of Engineering Education and Sports Engineering published by
Springer.
Prof. Subic has around 25 years of research experience, during which he has
achieved over $7 million of research income and over 220 international peer
reviewed publications. He has received a number of international awards for innovation in engineering research including the ISPO World Expo and Technical
University of Munich Innovation Awards.

Martin Leary began his scholarly career as a postgraduate student within the Engineering Design Group at the Mechanical Engineering Department of the University of Melbourne. He is Co-editor of the International Conference on Sustainable Automotive Technologies (ICSAT). The inaugural conference was held in 2008 in Melbourne. Due to the conference success, ICSAT now alternates annually between Australia, Germany and the United States. The conference proceedings have been adopted by Springer-Verlag for publication.
Member of the International Conference on Engineering Design (ICED) and has acted on the International Review panel since assisting with the ICED’05 in Melbourne.
