Murat Ustaoglu is Associate Professor of Islamic Economics at Istanbul University, Turkey. He has coauthored two previous Palgrave books, Post-Conflict Syrian State and Nation Building  and Islamic Finance Alternatives for Emerging Economies . Ahmet Incekara is Professor of Economics at Istanbul University, Turkey. He coauthored Islamic Finance Alternatives for Emerging Economies with Dr. Ustaoglu.
