Dr. Wagner, William E., III
William E. Wagner, III, Ph.D., is Associate Professor of Sociology at California State University, Channel Islands. Prior to coming to CSU, Channel Islands, he served as a member of the faculty and Director of the Institute for Social and Community Research at CSUB. He completed his Ph.D. in sociology at the University of Illinois, Chicago. Dr. Wagner also holds an undergraduate degree in mathematics from St. Mary's College of Maryland. He has published in national and regional scholarly journals on topics such as urban sociology, sports, homophobia, and academic status. Dr. Wagner is co-author of <i>Adventures in Social Research</i>, 7<sup>th</sup> Edition (Babbie, Halley, Wagner, & Zaino, 2010)
Dr. Frankfort-Nachmias, Chava
<b>Chava Frankfort-Nachmias</b> is now an Emeritus Professor of Sociology at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, where until recently she had been Director of the Center for Jewish Studies and teaching courses in research methods, statistics and gender. She is the co-author of <i>Research Methods in the Social Sciences </i>(with David Nachmias) and co-editor of <i>Sappho in the Holy Land</i> (with Erella Shadmi) and numerous publications on ethnicity and development, urban revitalization, science and gender, and women in Israel. She was the recipient of the University of Wisconsin System teaching improvement grant on integrating race, ethnicity and gender into the social statistics and research methods curriculum.
