He has authored more than 14 academic books on this subject as well as peer-reviewed research papers. He was recently interviewed by BBC Radio Crowd Science (2020). He appeared on HBO's Vice (TV Series) in season 3, episode 6 (episode 28 of the series), titled 'The Post-Antibiotic World & Indonesia's Palm Bomb.' aired on April 17, 2015.
