Dr. Chuang Liu is a lecturer at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Nanjing University of Science and Technology, where he teaches and researches topics including impact mechanics, penetration mechanics, and dynamic response of projectiles.
Xiong, Wei
Dr. Wei Xiong is an associate professor at School of Mechanical Engineering, Nanjing University of Science and Technology. She received her PhD in Nanjing University of Science and Technology in 2019. She has been to the University of Liverpool in 2016 as a one-year visiting student, sponsored by Chinese Scholarship Council. She has so far worked on the shock dynamics, especially on dynamic behaviors and applications of Energetic Structural Materials for about 10 years. Her work is now supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China. She has published a book and over 8 research papers in international journals and conference proceedings.
Zhang, Xianfeng
Dr. Xianfeng Zhang is professor at School of Mechanical Engineering, Nanjing University of Science and Technology. He received his PhD from Nanjing University of Science and Technology, China in 2005. He then worked at University of Science and Technology of China, Fraunhofer Institute for Mechanics of Material (IWM) in Germany, and Nanyang Technology University in Singapore as a postdoctoral researcher. His research interests are focused on dynamic behaviour of materials such as energetic structural materials, ceramics, concretes, rocks, and new alloy materials. Prof. Zhang is a committee member of China Ordnance Society and Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics and Engineering. He is also a member of Editor Boards of Chinese Journal of Ordnance Equipment Engineering. He has published over 150 research papers in international journals and conference proceedings.
Tan, Mengting
Dr. Mengting Tan is lecturer at School of Mechanical Engineering, Nanjing University of Science and Technology. She obtained her Master's degree from both Nanjing University of Science and Technology and École des Mines d'Alès, France in 2016. She then received her PhD degree at Nanjing University of Science and Technology, China in 2020. She studied at University of Nottingham, United Kingdom in 2019, sponsored by Chinese Scholarship Council. Her research currently focuses on the mechanics of ceramic armor, with several related journal papers published in Composite Structures, International Journal of Fracture and others.
