The book presents a systematic and in-depth treatment of the various Acts in a concise, lucid and illustrative manner, using several suitable practical examples and studies of different law cases with a view to making the subject more intelligible, interesting and authentic. Review questions and practical assignments provided at the end of each chapter are designed to help the students grasp and apply the provisions of different Acts.

D. Chandra Bose, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus of Commerce and formerly Principal, Sree Narayana College, Chengannur (Kerala), a constituent college of the University of Kerala. He has three decades of experience in teaching the undergraduate and postgraduate students of commerce. Besides, he has two decades of research experience in various areas of management, accounting and finance and has authored a number of books for professional and academic courses. He has also served as a member in the Faculty of Commerce at University of Kerala.
Dr. Chandra Bose is a research supervisor in the University of Kerala and has guided several research scholars. He has published several articles in reputed journals on network marketing, health tourism, working capital management, and so on. Dr. Chandra Bose is a recipient of several national and international awards and fellowships.
