Thanigaiarasu, currently heading the Department of Aerospace Engineering, Madras Institute of Technology Campus, Anna University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, is an alumnus of IITMadras and MIT, Chennai. He has worked in General Electrics, aircraft engines, USA (Cincinnati and Schenectady) through TATA-GE Company, Bangalore for about six months and worked for TATA-GE, Company, Bangalore, for four years. As an experienced researcher and academician, he has produced many high-impact publications and book chapters. He is a reviewer for many reputed journals in the field of Aerospace Engineering. He is a six-sigma green belt awardee and has visited US, Hong-Kong and Malaysia for research collaborations.
