Mintie Das is a storyteller with over seventeen years of experience in American corporate PR/Marketing. In Finland, Mintie consults regularly for several international companies including Rovio, creators of Angry Birds and Iittala. She recently co-created Rovio’s first young adult brand, Storm Sisters. Mintie’s first book in the YA series, Storm Sisters: The Sinking World premiered at Frankfurt Book Festival 2014 with foreign rights sold in over twenty territories. It was also shortlisted at Berlin Film Festival 2015. The Sinking World is currently in eight language translations. Mintie has premiered the second book in the series at Frankfurt 2015, Storm Sisters: The Frozen Seas. She has recently completed the third book in the series (Storm Sisters: Ocean of Secrets) and will begin Book 4 shortly. Storm Sisters is being developed into an international television series. Mintie has expanded her storytelling into cutting-edge games. She is currently Head Writer at Third Eye Studios, where she is creating a VR anthology series. Episode 1 launches in 2017. Mintie’s work has been published in The Guardian and she has been featured on BBC’s Woman’s Hour, The Verge and over 100 international media outlets.
