Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Social Sciences is a collection of essays on educational issues confronting educators and researchers from three continents (Africa, Asia, and Europe). The essays are grouped into three sections. The first, “Human Resources Management”, discusses issues such as consumer innovativeness, employee expectations, enterprise competitiveness, the global economy, human resources, internet advertising, job performance, the labour market, privatisation policies, profitability, transformational leadership, and work behaviour. The second part, “International Relations”, encompasses topics such as administrative reforms, elections, EU enlargement, mass media, migration, nationalism, and totalitarian thought, while the third, “Sociology”, looks at divorce, everyday life practices, the family structure, feminism, gender issues, the legalisation of prostitution, and women’s rights. Über Autor(innen)

Dr Georgeta Rata currently teaches languages in Romania. She has co-edited Social Sciences Today: Between Theory and Practice (CSP, 2010), Academic Days of Timisoara: Social Sciences Today (CSP, 2011), Applied Social Sciences: Sociology (CSP, 2013), and Multicultural Education: From Theory to Practice (CSP, 2013).

Dr Hasan Arslan currently teaches education-related subjects in Turkey. He has authored Turkish Educational System and School Administration (2010) and Class Management (2011), and co-edited Applied Social Sciences: Education Sciences (CSP, 2013) and Multicultural Education: From Theory to Practice (CSP, 2013).

Dr Patricia-Luciana Runcan currently teaches social work-related subjects in Romania. She has authored Depression in the Elderly (CSP, 2013) and Supervision in Educational, Social and Medical Services Professions (CSP, 2013), and co-edited Applied Social Sciences: Social Work (CSP, 2013) and Applied Social Sciences: Sociology (CSP, 2013).

Dr Ali Akdemir currently teaches management in Turkey. He has authored Introduction to Business Administration (2012), Vision Administration (2008), Civilization and Management (2004), Entrepreneurship Culture (1996), and Strategic Planning (1994).
