Samuel Scolnicov is Associate Professor of Philosophy and of Education at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His works include Plato's Metaphysics of Education (Routledge, 1988) and Plato's Parmenides, translated with an Introduction and Commentary (University of California Press, 2003), and he co-edited New Images of Plato: Dialogues on the Idea of the Good (Academia Verlag, 2003).
Luc Brisson is a researcher at the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS). He has published widely on Plato: translations, commentaries and bibliographies, and has a particular interest in the history of the platonic tradition as found in middle- and neo-platonism.
